FALES, a leader in narrow and accurate slitting, offers an in-line/off-line slitting head which can be used with other equipment or independently when rewinding is not required. Utilizing fixed-knife arbors, the head is ideally suited for shear cut slitting of paper, most heavy films, plastics and foils. It is designed for standard web sizes of 24", 30", 36", 40", 50", and 60". The use of fixed-type knives permits a slitting accuracy of + .001" tolerence, the option of direct or indirect drive, with shaft speeds up to 1,000 RPM is available.
